5 Tips To Becoming A More Powerful You!

All your life you have been a ‘human doing’; competing, fearful, doubtful, unfaithful, distrustful, uncaring and approval-seeking. It’s time to seek to live like the powerful HUMAN BEING you were meant to be.

Just as the DNA of the oak tree is in the acorn seed, there’s nothing missing in you! Life is a process of becoming. We were meant to go through life to find ourselves and to become ourselves. It’s a choice. Your choice!

The quality of the things you do today and every day
will eventually determine the quality of the life
you create for yourself, your family and your legacy. The time will pass anyway, so you might as well spend it wisely.

Here are 5 tips for living a powerful, amazing life that you know you deserve to live:

  1. Be present with all your might.

Be present in everything you do; even in the face of fear, anxiety, unease and discomfort. Stop drifting wherever your mind goes; nor preoccupy your mind with past or future events. Let your breath bring you back into the present moment with each inhale and exhale of fresh air. Trust more. Be fully present in everything you do. Enjoy every step of the journey.

TASK 1:

Beginning with 5 minutes twice daily, in peace and quiet, connect with yourself, your wishes and your thoughts. Inhale, Hold and Exhale fresh air. Listen to your heart beating in your ‘secret garden’.

  1. Be QUALITY-conscious – In Vision and Actualization.

Craft your life in a way that feels good for you; in a way that brings you real joy and pleasure. You can live life your own way! It all starts with your believing so. Buy, Do and Accept only QUALITY things. Simplify your conversations, your understanding, your activities, your life. Don’t settle for anything less than you’re worth. Dream boldly, act fearlessly. Build your life as if there were no limits to who you could BE, DO and HAVE. Don’t settle for a life of mediocrity. Live life fully.

TASK 2:

Do an honest review; in what aspect of your life are you tolerating less than you’d be fully happy with – relationships, things money can buy, and others money can’t?

  1. Accept Responsibility – Everything is from the inside.Greatness can’t be found outside of you; but rather within yourself. All the answers that you need are within, not without. “A man travels the world over in search of what he needs and returns home to find it.” ~ George Moore. Nurture the relationship you have with your Self. Make it stronger. It’s not the same as selfishness. Only by embracing who you are fully, giving only the best to your SELF, will you be able to do the same for those you love.

TASK 3:

Are you secretly or openly holding anyone dead or alive responsible for any adverse outcome in your life? Can you begin to accept responsibility for all that’s good and bad going forward?

  1. Learn to let go

Find humor in the face of chaos. Stop stressing, start
living! If a situation challenges you, change your interpretation of it. Emotion follows interpretation! Let go of all the toxic thoughts, things, people and past experiences that are holding you back in life. Let go and be happy. Allow events to follow their natural courses. Don’t fight life. Don’t resist it. Surrender to what is. Acceptance is neither resignation; nor avoidance of life’s struggles. Forgive, release and let go. It gives you power. It will heal your heart, making room for love to enter.

 TASK 4:

Who or what is holding any area your life hostage; filling you with negative energy? What can you do to release people and situations for a fresh dose of creative thinking to begin to flow through you?

  1. Love is all you need

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” ~ Rum. You are made of love and to love. Allow love to govern your mind, your body and your spirit. Strive to be at peace with yourself and all mankind, as much as you can. Fill your heart with love and grace. Let go of envy, anger, jealousy, bitterness and resentment. Leave the door to your heart open. A loving person only sees the world as a loving place; an Angry person sees the world as an angry place. The magic is usually in the unknown! Let love flow in and out of you. Be generous with your TIME and your SUBSTANCE. Practice random acts of kindness – RAK. To reap greatly, you must sow greatly. You never know where the harvest will sprout from. Trust that God will always bring you the best.

TASK 5:

Where or whom are you withholding love from? What is that area of humanity that gives you pain each time you encounter or think about it? Hint: Your PURPOSE is connected to your answer!
